A) the standard clearance between doors and windows and the surrounding wall of the hole shall be controlled between 25mm-40mm, the upper limit size shall not exceed 50mm, the lower limit shall not be less than 20mm, and there shall be a certain distance between the window frame and the outer wall surface, otherwise, fine stone concrete shall be used for pouring and trimming before installation and construction, and inferior masonry, such as sintered mud brick or mortar, is strictly prohibited;
B) cement mortar filling method shall be reasonably selected according to the engineering conditions. First, mortar shall be filled in the aluminum cavity before being installed on the wall and secondary filling shall be carried out. Second, mortar shall be filled after the aluminum frame is fixed. The two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, one can ensure that the aluminum cavity does not form a hollow phenomenon, but in the secondary filling is easy to produce cracks and water leakage;
c) The mixture ratio of cement mortar shall be controlled, generally 1:2.5, to ensure the quality of cement mortar, recommend adding waterproof agent in cement mortar to improve the anti-leakage performance of cement mortar, pay attention to maintenance, and avoid cracking;
d) Two additional layers of waterproof coating shall be applied within 300mm of the outer wall surface around the door and window frame to reduce the chance of rainwater leakage;
e) The wind-induced surface or rainwater scouring surface is the filling material to prevent rainwater from seeping through the door, window and wall, and the water stop baffle or other waterproof coating film shall be properly considered to increase the impermeability;
f) A glue injection groove with a width of 5-8mm shall be reserved at the junction of window frames. When embedding sealing materials, floating ash and mortar shall be removed to make the sealing materials firmly bonded with window frames and walls. At the same time, check whether the sealing material is continuous, whether it is missing, etc., especially whether there are fine pores at the corner junction position; More than two seals should be used for the external wall of the veneer brick to avoid capillary water penetration in the seam;
g) The adjustment cushion block is prohibited from remaining in the door and window frame. After removal, it shall be filled and compacted for the second time in time. The filling shall pay attention to the reliable bonding with the substrate, and the substrate shall be wet except for removing the residue;
h) The outdoor window sill should be 20mm lower than the indoor window sill board, and a downstream slope should be set to ensure smooth rainwater drainage and avoid water penetration. There should be a certain distance between the aluminum doors and windows and the outer wall to avoid direct washing by rain.
I) The material, specification and connection method of door and window connectors shall conform to the requirements of the local Technical Regulations for Aluminum Alloy Doors and Windows, and the anchor shall be sealed with concrete or mortar in time to avoid cracks in the sealing material due to movement under wind load.
